The iOS Post – All Things iOS and the Apple World – The iOS Post – Flickr Gets Redesigned on the Web, Users Get 1 Terabyte of Free Storage
Yahoo has been busy today. This morning the web company announced the acquisition of Tumblr and this afternoon it announced a redesign of Flickr, its photo service. The design applies to its website, which is photo centric, in a layout called mosaic. The interesting thing about today’s announcement its that all users will now have 1 terabyte (1,024 Gb) of free storage for photos, if that’s not attractive enough, I don’t know what is. Google announced last week that Google+ photos has up to 15Gb of storage free, but it’s shared with Gmail and Drive. Flickr also launched a redesigned Android app that matches the redesigned iOS app launched months ago.
