Sarah and I are not just co-workers; we’re also good friends. We spend a lot of time reminiscing about our childhood and talking about our favorite books. That’s why we decided to work together on a post listing each of our top ten favorite childhood books. Some might be surprised that certain classics, such as Where the Wild Things Are and The Giving Tree are not listed here. However, we found that when looking back, those stories did not impact us in significant ways. This list is not a regurgitation of just popular classic children’s books. It contains books that our mothers and grandmothers read to us as children, creating a special place in our sentimental hearts.
